Jinja Safari call it a day
And unsurprisingly, it all seems very amicable.
NSW-based forest-folk/dream-pop outfit Jinja Safari have announced the end of the act as we know it today on social media in what appears to all be very amicable and a mutual decision, which you can read below:
Co-frontman Pepa Knight also took to his solo project's Facebook page to announce it as well, and again it all seems really fine and dandy amongst everyone involved.
And given the nature of the act in general, it's hardly surprising. The much-adored group was last in Perth playing one of our own CIRCI Sessions shows at Jack Rabbit Slim's, which is where the header photo by Matsu comes from.
A more likeable bunch of lads you'd be hard-pressed to find, and we look forward to seeing what comes from them as individual musos in the future.
