Instagram is no longer squares only, now has portrait/landscape options

So long Whitagram.

In what might be one of the greatest technological advances in our generation, your #blessed run of lifetime moments is no longer constricted to just pesky square framing. Instagram feels your pain of years spent having to cut out that one sad friend who didn't get in tight enough for the group photo:

"We know that it hasn’t been easy to share this type of content on Instagram: friends get cut out of group shots, the subject of your video feels cramped and you can’t capture the Golden Gate Bridge from end to end."

It applies to videos too, "which in widescreen can be more cinematic than ever".

I dunno about you guys, but I kinda like how you had to think inside the box with the old Instagram format. And now, after I already spend hours trying to pick the right filter for my sunset shots, I'll also need to decide which format it needs to be in? I already have to way too many big decisions in my life, I'm not sure if I can handle any more:
