Ziggy delivers a fierce message with new single and video clip, Black Face

The WA rapper is also celebrating the launch of his new label, Ramo Records.

We've been fortunate in 2016 to premiere a couple of brilliant pieces of music from WA-based hip hop dude Ziggy. First we had the honour of streaming his stirring debut EPBlack Thoughts, before unveiling the powerful video clip for that EP's title track a few months later. At a time when artists like Briggs can't even call out people wearing black face without copping streams of abuse online, it's artists like him and Ziggy whose voices are more important than ever.

Delivered with intensity yet in no way talking down to anyone or just shouting for the sake of shouting, Ziggy's latest single and video clip, Black Face, is another fierce salvo from the immensely talented artist, backed up once again with fantastic production from another emerging WA talent - JCAL. And also shot beautifully by the team of Jacquleine Pelczar (Director/Editor), Brandon Lee Weston (Cinematographer) and Elaine Smith (Producer).

The track is released on Ziggy's just-launched label, Ramo Records, and you can help him celebrate the whole thing at the Black Face single launch at Perth's The Good Shepherd, where he'll be supported by Marksman Lloyd, Phocal, JCAL, Chiko and DJ Beryl Streep AKA Scarlett from San Cisco.
