Premiere: Listen to two new heaters from Perth rapper S.O.X

The emerging hip hop artist is primed for a big 2017.

Zimbabwean/West Australian rapper S.O.X, real name Tinashe Soko, has been kicking around Perth for a couple of years now (we highlighted him in THIS article about Australia's future rap crop), and today we're stoked to premiere not one, but two new tracks from the dude. Birthday (prod. Jimmy Codeine) is a somber slow jam featuring some fierce delivery from Soko amidst a cheeky Biggie sample, and works as the perfect counter-point to the more upbeat Kosher, produced by Swiff D (who produces for Lil Wayne and ScHoolboy Q).

Riding with a few other emerging Perth talents as part of the Tone Youth collective, 2017 is shaping up to be a big year for the rapper, with an EP and videos to come, so best be getting acquainted below, and catch him live tonight at Lofty Heights' EP Launch, and supporting DZ Deathrays over in Perth at YMCA HQ on Saturday December 10 (arvo show), and Jack Rabbit Slim's later that night.
