Proud Yuin artist drops new single and inspiring short documentary on the one year anniversary of the We Are Warriors Indigenous oragnisation's founding

A year on from founding the First Nations social enterprise We Are Warriors, rapper, producer and radio host Nooky has released a single of the same name, alongside a moving short doco, Through The Fire.

Dedicated to celebrating Blak excellence and empowering Indigenous youth, naming a song after the We Are Warriors organisation sees Nooky furthering impactful statements like “See It To Be It” over an epic string-and-piano led trap beat, featuring a duet with Mi-Kaisha.

The short documentary Through The Fire, featuring the single, takes this message to the next level with its aim of “inspiring, equipping and empowering Indigenous youth to succeed by connecting them with First Nations role models”. These role models include the likes of fellow rappers/muos The Kid Laroi, Kobie Dee, Barkaa, photographer Luke Currie-Richardons, international fashion model Charlie Fraser and more all detailing their experience in overcoming adversity.
