Tkay Maidza teams up with Danny L Harle for a playful new thumper, Bom Bom

The Australian rap queen's collaboration with the PC Music prince is energetic and colourful.

Over the past few months, Australian hip-hop export Tkay Maidza has lent her instantly recognisable vocal flow to artists such as Basenji and Swick, who each balanced Maidza's energetic vocal features with forward-thinking productions which teased a more experimental side of the bouncy and joyous rap queen. Bom Bom is Tkay Maidza's latest track and it sees her fully dive into this experimental side, teaming up with PC Music's Danny L Harle – who has also collaborated with Carly Rae Jepsen and a host of others – for a club-ready track which is completely unforgettable. It's bright and vibrant, with Tkay Maidza's playful vocals perfectly playing along with Danny L Harle's larger-than-life production, which warps and pulses with a unique, club-house sound. It's a bit of a risky move from Maidza, but with the constant support thrown behind her by Australia and beyond she's in a great position to play around and experiment with her sound without losing any cred, and Bom Bom is a perfect place to start. Listen to the one-off track below, and make sure you catch Tkay Maidza at February's Party In The Paddock Festival, which you can grab tickets to HERE.
