Premiere: Stream Don Vitale's new 8-track EP, Dope Nation

The jack of all trades masters a cracking EP.

Kent Wright, AKA Don Vitale, is one busy dude. In amidst being the co-founder of Byron Bay-based clothing label AFENDS, half of hip hop duo The Hated, part of the Brissy/North Coast NSW collective Dead Caucus, skateboarding and more, he's still finding the time to make music under his solo alias, and he's only just getting started.

This Friday he's releasing a new EP in Dope Nation via Bedlam Records, and it features some of this country's finest on production work, linked up with an effortless flow and intricate lyricism Wright's been honing over the past couple of years. And, as you've probably guessed because you're reading this right now, we're really stoked to offer an exclusive stream a few days in advance. Self described as a "rollercoaster of emotions", the eight-tracker veers from straight up love songs to grimey drug ballads, and he's recruited local heavyweight producers Quexxxt, Renz and James Angus to tie it all together, with excellent results.

You can stream those results below, keep your eyes out for that Friday download, and see him launch it live Friday 27 November at Woody's Surf Shack in Byron Bay next week:
