Leng Hock switches things up on new single, Discreet

Get to know a softer side to the up and coming Brissy R&B talent.

If you heard Tristan Agostino aka Leng Hock's thumping, auto-tune heavy track, Same, which dropped earlier this year; you may be surprised after spinning his emotion-fuelled new single, Discreet. The Brisbane R&B singer/producer has proven that he's more than comfortable switching things up; with sincere lyricism, smooth vocals and a hard hitting, self-produced beat all adding to the honest, melancholic feel of Discreet. A simple but sweet piano lick sets the mood from the outset, with rumbling bass and a minimalistic drum beat providing the perfect backing for Agostino's smooth vocals. Penned in the days following a shattering, unexpected breakup; Discreet is the kind of raw but rare R&B tune that people can both dance to and connect with on a deeply personal level.

The Pilerats Records signee has been slaving away for most of 2016, crafting beats and laying down vocals for his debut release - which he has just revealed will be an EP dropping in the not too distant future. Melbourne fans can see Leng Hock playing Thank Guard at Boney in Melbourne this Thursday night, while Sydney crew can catch him lighting up Sidechains on Friday, November 4.
