This year saw the release of OKENYO's WOMAN'S WORLD, an anthemic single and call to arms for women all over the globe. And now, the single has been given new life thanks to the addition of fellow badasses Miss Blanks (who we talk about a lot) and Jesswar (who we were just introduced to). After the three of them met at BIGSOUND earlier this year, they recorded verses in studios all over the country to voltron up into the absolute thumper we now know as WOMAN'S WORLD 2.0. OKENYO goes into the updated track a little further: "I wanted to create a new version of the song that didn’t just fea-ture an artist but gave the song more agency and relevance. With the three of us it’s power in numbers, individual voices standing together strong."
