Watch: World Champion - Avocado Galaxy

Last month the world was introduced to World Champion, a new duo out of Sydney and their single Avocado Galaxy, their first release through highly esteemed record label Future Classic. The "racy, electronically-founded pop tune" à la Jagwar Ma was quickly picked up and shared across the ~interwebs~ and led to the duo playing a couple of really big shows, such as BIGSOUND. Now, the duo has released the official video for Avocado Galaxy, a quick, three-minute blend of retro tapes, singing and some pretty spinny space-themed shots (no avocadoes though, unfortunately). It's a real arty piece of work (and by that I do not mean it looks like something made from year 10 visual media students at high school, luckily), matching the weirdly quirky undertones throughout the single perfectly.
