Watch: World Champion - Avocado Galaxy

Not too long ago, I put some words together on the formation of a new psych-pop duo, World Champion (READ HERE). There was a fair bit of fuss surrounding their emergence, as Australian music tastemakers Future Classic, jumped on board and signed them. Now they've followed up their opening single Avocado Galaxy with an accompanying film clip. Carrying on with the cosmic vibe of the tune, the clip is a racy conglomeration of outerspace travel, spliced with some retro dance footage. We also cop some psych-melted shots of Will Campion (lead vocal) singing on his merry way. 

Directed and produced by Elliot Sheilds of Sydney design collective Pelvis, the video does well to encapsulate the playful and upbeat mood of the track. If you're a Sydneysider, the boys will be playing a gig at the Carriageworks on November 14th as part of At First Sight.
