Listen to an exquisite new single from Two People - I'm Tied To You

The duo formerly of Snakadaktal are a must-see at Splendour this year.

We're truly in a golden age of thought-provoking, forward-thinking emotive electronic music in emerging Australian artists right now. From the gentle (Kllo), to the pulsing (Planète), and the banging (Willaris. K), we're spoilt for choice at the moment and Two People are another who should be on your radar if they're not already. Comprised of Phoebe Lou and Joseph Clough, who came together after their last project (Snakadaktal) dissolved, Two People's less is more approach certainly has us on the hook, and new single I'm Tied To You is worth the wait.

A slow burner in the purest sense, it's a track that continues to grow throughout it's over-too-soon 4:30 run time, teasing saxophone, gentle percussion, ravey synths, and Phoebe Lou's soothing vocals to devastating effect. You might have missed their name on the Splendour In The Grass 2018 poster this year, but please, if you're going, make an effort to go see them, we get the feeling it's gonna be one of "those" sets.
