Premiere: Wayfarer works his magic on BATTS' For That, I'm Sorry

The emerging Melbourne producer takes a break from finishing his upcoming EP.

We first came across electronic duo BATTS when we had the pleasure of premiering their new single For That, I'm Sorry a few months ago, at the time quickly endearing ourselves to a collaboration that had two home bases - Australia and the UK. The pairing of Tanya Batt and Alisdair Mason may have been separated by a lot of land and sea, but they seem very much on the same page when it comes to music. In recent times it's been announced that Batt will be moving to the UK early next year to collaborate more closely with Mason, but in the meantime we have this killer remix from a young Melbourne producer to watch - Wayfarer. Without overbearing the delicate, sparse nature of the original, Wayfarer has added a little extra oomph whilst still maintaining the emotional integrity of the original, for the perfect remix - one that adds things without taking anything away.
