Watch: Brendan Maclean - Tectonic

Kinda like Robyn if Robyn was a cool dude from Australia who can fucking dance.

When singer/songwriter/performer/general legend Brendan Maclean isn't making us feel feelings on Twitter he's a supremely talented individual in the music and performing arts worlds. Tectonic is a new single from him and it actually comes to the world as Maclean's first ever co-write, working with producer Alex Suarez. And the resulting tune proves this a case of perfect match. While it's something of a sonic change for Maclean, it works as an absolute electro-pop treat, bringing to mind the sexy Swedish sounds of Robyn and Röyksopp, for a driving piece of synth-laden dance music. And that's without even mentioning the incredible routine you're about to witness in the below video.
