Premiere: PARKER's haunting new single I Take This Time will give you chills

The Australian electro-pop outfit dial things back for their new track, which is built around the track of the same name from US composer Arthur Russell.

In collaboration with Brisbane-based producer Hans Van Vliet, Melbourne's Tash Parker shines. Together they form PARKER, a state-crossing partnership who will seriously impress with their newest single I Take This Time. Based around the track of the same name by US composer Arthur Russell, I Take This Time will remind you why so many artists believe that Australia is a watering hole for brilliant musicians, with Parker in particular seriously impressing across the track's haunting, four-minute duration. It's quite a stripped back affair, with a tripping, cello-infused electronic production that sits at bay behind Parker's vocals, which have this uniquely dreamy, yet still quite dark and stirring sound to them. It's the first track from their forthcoming EP, so be sure to dig into I Take This Time below and stay tuned for the rest still to come.
