Pssst, Kevin Parker and Nick Allbrook are DJing in Perth this weekend

They'll be playing a special weekender showcase by Perth fashion label Hickey Hardware, at the Alex Hotel.

It's no secret that we're a fan of a cheeky Kevin Parker DJ set or two, even booking him under 'DJ Chip Seagull' a fair few years back when we teamed up with the Spinning Top label lords to throw a party with Theophilus London. He does his fair share of sets around town, but with Tame Impala on the verge of releasing new music at any moment now (the band are playing Saturday Night Live in the next few weeks, which is where a lot of artists end up debuting new material), he's been keeping it pretty chill lately, obviously working on the long-awaited follow-up to Currents. This weekend, however, that's changing, with Kev Parker and his Tame Impala bandmate Jay Watson, plus ex-Tame, now-POND frontman Nick Allbrook DJing the Alex Hotel for a Hicky Hardware venue takeover.

This weekend, the Perth-based fashion label - worn by names including Tame Impala, Pond, Client Liaison, San Cisco and Stella Donnelly - will be taking over the Northbridge space for two days to celebrate their new line All Terrain, using it for fashion shows and other activations before the rooftop-hosted afters will feature names like Kev and Nick up-late. You can grab more information, tickets and the likes HERE, but suss out the deets below and see ya there this Friday and Saturday.
