Premiere: Get a load of Hydraulix's new EP ahead of its release this Friday

The 3-tracker is due this Friday, followed by a massive run of tour dates around Aus/NZ.

One of this country's fastest rising producers in the world of bass music - Hydraulix is on the verge of releasing a new EP called Pray For Hydro. Coming out February 12 via the folks at Downright, the three-tracker features Mad Decent’s Snappy Jit and Brisbane hip hop artist September: "The tracks on this EP have taken a few forms over the last eight months,” explains Hydraulix. “I’ve been drawing inspiration from not only the sounds and styles I’ve been digging in bass music, but also records I’ve been enjoying lately from the realm of hip hop and future beat."

Today we're excited to get you ready for the EP's release on Friday with a sneaky advance stream. In true Hydraulix fashion it's a hectic affair, sticking true to the sounds that have garnered him a shitload of fans around Australia and the world, but also hinting at an evolution and complexity in his production skills that bodes well for the bright - and bass-heavy - future. Take a listen below, and check out his full run of Australia/NZ tour dates down the bottom:
