Hydraulix gets heavy on hectic new single, Head Bang

Start your week in a big, big way.

Sydney-based bass king Hydraulix has been one of our go-to sources for some of Australia's biggest tunes, and with names including Dillon Francis and NGHTMRE name-dropping the Aussie local as one of their favourite producers, it's no joke that Hydraulix is destined for big things in the bass music world. After a round of hectic collaborations and remixes across the past 12 months, Hydraulix has now returned with some original music, releasing an aptly-named new single in Head Bang, taken from an upcoming compilation on Brillz's TWONK label. As expected, Head Bang is huge. Like, really huge. Opening with a metallic, clanging melody and a looping vocal which pumps you up across most of the track, Hand Bang and its bass-dominated, neck-breaking drop is destined for sweaty clubs and festival stages alike, arriving at the tail-end of the producer's current Australian tour. With tracks from fellow Australians Command Q and international heavyweights such as Wuki, Bro Safari and Barely Alive, the forthcoming Twonkilation Vol. 1 - out this Friday (April 28) - is set to be one of the heavier compilations of this year, so be sure to get your bass-fiending mitts on the iTunes pre-order HERE.

Remaining Tour Dates:

May 12 | The Met, Brisbane

May 27 | Capitol, Perth
