KRNE flips K.Flay's FML on it's head with a new remix

A lesson in taking the good bits from a great song and making them better.

KRNE is an emerging US producer that I'm 100% confident will blow by the time this year's over. Just this year alone he's produced for TOKiMONSTA, dropped a remix for Baauer's Pusha-T collaboration and has performed at Coachella, but not content with stopping there, he's just released an official remix of K.Flay's breakout single FML. Whilst the original saw K.Flay experiment with a largely chilled-out electronica sound (those synth breaks in the chorus are pretty damn massive though, got to admit), KRNE traps up FML, adding a vocal-driven, pulsating beat under the chorus that really cleverly switches up into a future-bass sound on the last breakdown. Again proving KRNE's intense production capabilities, his FML remix opens up the original to a whole new crowd, twisting K.Flay's original production and making it more accessible to a whole new market - something I think that's very crucial when doing remixes. Have a listen below, or check out the Vanic remix of FML that's also been released HERE.
