Watch: Yuma X - Swimming Pool

Newcomers Yuma X have just dropped their debut single, and it’s a cracker. A common flaw of this style of minimalist electronica is failing to command the listeners’ attention; but this boy-girl duo have got this oozing with sophistication. Watch out for the circular vocal sampling - it’s sure to become entrenched in your head. The accompanying clip is intimate and startlingly beautiful. Starting out with a grey beach setting, colour begins to infiltrate the clip as the girl immerses herself in the ocean. It doesn’t really flourish into anything too expansive, but it gets under your skin. It's directed by KATZKI, who you may recall directed THIS stunning clip for Wolf Tide recently.
