India Sweeney shares delicate, delightful new single, To The Ground

These soft-spoken vocals will have you swooning.

Refresh yourself on some fresh new India Sweeney – you’ll probably recall that distinctive angelic voice from her acclaimed debut, Fly - a dreamy dance pop number that charmed us all with her delicate, effortless tone, and groovy jazz sax (Definitive Fact: 70% of all music could use some more saxophone). She’s just released her second single To The Ground on Stoney Roads Records, and it shows a different, softer side to her sound and songwriting. Every factor of this track is crafted to create a pop soundscape with the emotion you crave. Alongside stunning piano lines, she teeters on a delicate line between melody and spoken word: “This track is about wanting to be able to control your mind and feel ok, but how your mind stops you. "Up, down, all around" are those three feelings you get when you feel all over the place,” she says.

India’s perfectly captured the universal longing to feel in control of the way you feel through song. Give your ears and mind a treat below.
