EMC announces Amsterdam Night Mayor as first keynote speaker

To tell Sydney what the fuck is up, presumably.

EMC (Electronic Music Conference) is a must hit on any electronic fan’s calendar, with last year’s week-long program, featuring talks from Carl Cox and Gilles Peterson and a mammoth EMC Play program (the party-side of the conference) which included Disclosure B2B with Motez, DJ Snake, Skrillex and locals including Touch Sensitive and UV boi. This year’s conference, set to run between November 28 and December 2 at Sydney’s IVY Complex, is promising to be bigger and better than ever before and by the looks of their first keynote speaker, they’re definitely onto something. Mirik Milan, better known as the ‘Night Mayor of Amsterdam’, has just been announced as the first speaker, giving a talk about Amsterdam’s vibrant and safe nightlife and how it is possible for Sydney to achieve this without the use of lockouts.

Tickets this year are split into four categories – EMC Academy, EMC Pro, EMC Premium and EMC Play, with tickets to the latter yet to be released. However, for the rest, you can suss out the details and buy early bird tickets HERE.
