Melbourne-via-the-world producer Air Max 97 has been busy lately. He chased up last year's incredible Progress & Memory EP with a totally mad release of bright, off-kilter club, Fruit Crush, featuring a new collaboration with grime producer Strict Face on the melodic, stripped-back grime hitter Armour Form. He's also been designing tee-shirts for himself and for ASSK Paris, was invited to do mixes for Nina Las Vegas' triple j show and the highly esteemed TRUANTS, and has had his tracks remixed for international compilations.

Air Max '97 has put together a selection of his most recent music explorations for Pilerats: it includes Sharp Vein's Iglooghost remix, which witnesses the producer slow down the original and send it through a number of mutations, Chicago drill, Baltimore club, and other dynamic, thoughtfully textured tracks.

If you're in Perth, catch him in the club (actually, in the laneway adjacent to the club) throwing the below tracks out live when he makes his sophomore sojourn to the West Coast, headlining a cruisy Sunday special: March 1st in the Good Shepherd Laneway, Leederville, with support from an all-star line up of Perth's underground club progressionists: Methods Of Movement, Fungle Club, Surface Tension and Lucidity. 5pm - 11pm. $10 on the door.
