Premiere: The Witches drop their debut single, Take Time

A veritable WA super group are about ready to take off with their first single.

Perth indie-rock outfit The Witches launched their debut single, Take Time, last weekend and have kindly given us a sneaky post-launch stream before its official release. Featuring a who's who of WA band members (including from Sons Of Rico, The Panda Band and Ruby Boots to name a few), The Witches sit somewhere between Modest Mouse and The Police, with elements of new-wave thrown in for good measure. Take Time is an assured debut be-fitting of their pedigree, a driving number that is crisply produced with thumping drums, a few cheeky synths and jangly indie guitars.
