Photo Diary: Harrison Storm documents his US trip earlier this year

He's currently supporting Josh Pyke and has some EP launch shows lined up real soon.

Wollongong-based singer/songwriter Harrison Storm has had a pretty ripper 2017, kicking off with being signed to Nettwerk Records, and since then racking up streams in the millions and touring a heap. He's currently gallavanting around the country with Josh Pyke following the release of his latest EP Change It All, and sent us a few snaps from a recent trip to the US playing some Sofar Sounds shows and working on new music. Check it all out, along with a full list of his upcoming shows, below:

This is from the first drive around the streets of LA. I was travelling around the US with my manager Jamie and he’d spent quite a bit of time there over the past decade, so it was handy having him give the guided tours. Being my first trip to the US, it was a surreal day for me and I was trying to soak it all in whilst severly jet lagged.

A small backyard in West Hollywood held the first US show I was apart of for Sofar Sounds LA. The show was great and everyone there was super welcoming. Great success.

Jamie and I took the Pacific Coast Highway on our way to Santa Barbara for another Sofar Gig. This shot was taken during a traffic jam and it was pretty painful having to crawl past all the surf spots along Malibu without getting to surf.

Something I got used to pretty quickly. LA traffic. Those roads are crazy.

More driving along the PCH.

This is during sunset on the first night in Nashville. It was nice to get out of the bustle of LA and Nashville felt comforting. Plus our Air BNB had a dog named Jackson. Winning.

Did a bunch of writing sessions on this trip and forgot to take photos of writers with their studios. I took this one though of Todd Clark in his home studio in Nashville. We got a very special demo down that day.

From Nasvhille we drove to Atlanta for a Sofar Sounds gig and a Balcony TV session which was filmed on a rooftop. Seeing Atlanta from this point of view will stick in my brain.

The only real day off we had for the entire three week trip. No travelling or having to be somewhere to play music or write. So we hired some bikes and cruised along the East River to check out the Brooklyn Bridge.
