Ah Trees rolled through 2017 with a pretty hectic number of shows and even a couple of lineup changes, but have emerged on Valentine's Day 2018 recharged and working towards their debut full length. Nomads & Pilgrims is the first taste of Ah Trees, and what a delectable 8-minute sonic journey it is. They've always had a touch of lounge-pop about them, but this new single finds them embracing space and atmosphere more than ever, letting the track swell, ebb and flow super organically. And even though it taps out at just under eight minutes, it never outstays its welcome.
It's the first single since their first they've self-recorded and produced, and if this is the way forward then count us in:
