Singer-songwriter from Bemidji, Minnesota Ber treats us to the stories and sounds we can expect in her forthcoming EP Halfway (out next month) with the latest tongue in cheek heartbreak anthem titled Your Internet Sucks.
Following on from singles Halfway, Boys Who Kiss You In Their Car, and Superspreader, which also feature on the 6-track EP’s release, Your Internet Sucks showcases Ber’s soaring vocal range and succinct yet descriptive nature as a songwriter as she weaves infectious indie-pop sounds around an uncomfortable narrative, self-described as “an ode to the boy who broke my heart. I don’t wish him the worst, but I do wish him minor inconveniences. For example, when he’s playing Fortnite, I hope his internet sucks.”
With the full EP Halfway set for release February 17th, be sure to get familiar with Ber, her sweet vocals, modern sounds, and catchy songwriting evident in Your Internet Sucks, out today.
