The Avalanches join Childish Gambino, London Grammar and more for Falls Festival

Including the Festival's first foray west for Falls Downtown.

Following a couple of sneaky teases for this year's Falls Festival in Childish Gambino and, just this morning, London Grammar, we now know a whole heap more of the international and Aussie artists lined up for the now four events, which include a brand new stop over here in the west - Falls Downtown. Falls Downtown will head south to the city of Fremantle over the weekend of January 7 and 8, taking over abandoned and repurposed buildings; old-world ballrooms; city streets and town squares. In addition to the acts below (with more TBA), Falls Downtown will feature rooftop camping, makers’ markets, visual arts performances, the danceteria, creative installations, pop-up bars, beer gardens, food trucks and pass-outs to enjoy Freo faves like Bathers Beach, Fremantle Markets and more.

"Shutup Pilerats and tell us who's playing", said those who haven't already skipped past the above pre-amble. Well, so far the lineup for FALLS DOWNTOWN looks like this (full Falls Festival poster down the bottom):
