In case you've been under a rock for the past few weeks, the time has finally come for Australia's biggest music festival, Splendour In The Grass. A three day bender of great tunes, copius amounts of alcohol and shit-tonnes of mud, Splendour is definitely up there as one of the funnest weekends on the Australian music calendar. We've already given you a quick guide to the music at Splendour (read that HERE), as well as a last-minute guide for surviving the three days of musical heaven if you've a) never done it before or b) just forgot (read that one HERE), but one thing that hasn't come up yet is transport. There's a heap of ways to travel to Splends, most of which are covered HERE by the festival itself, but if you're bored of the old bus and train services, the Tame Impala boys have got your back.
Teaming up with Universal Music, Tame Impala will be running a free 'Currents' shuttle bus service to and from Splendour throughout the weekend, in support of their recently released third album, Currents. The bus will be running throughout the whole three days of the festival, offering free lifts to and from the site from 12:00PM to 6:00PM daily. Punters wanting to get involved will just have to head to any of the pick-up locations (listed below), however there's no designated timetable so the bus is trackable via Google Maps HERE so you'll just have to wait around and watch the bus 'eventually' make it your way. More information available via tamebus.com.
