Vanessa Elisha is defs the new R&B gal with latest single Girls

Oo-la-la.

In her first single of her debut EP Good Ones, Aussie newcomer Vanessa Elisha has proven herself to be a serious threat to female rap/R&B chart-toppers (calling Tinashe, Iggy and Tove Lo). With help from producer Dave Luxe, the pair’s chemistry has resulted in an absolute killer tune in Girls, with incredible falsetto vocals from Elisha combined with hip hop beats (deep synths and high-tops) from Luxe. A song about being a good girl in comparison to some of the over-sexualized young women of our generation; Elisha’s lyrics are as mesmerising as her voice. Beautiful but with a strong sense of self, and an insane amount of fresh talent - Elisha will definitely be giving the big names a run for their money once her EP drops later this year.
