Watch the video for Vanessa Elisha's new XXYYXX-produced burner, Out Of Time

Out Of Time is the first single from Elisha's forthcoming EP, an EP which is sure to be one of the best of the year.

Vanessa Elisha is an artist everyone should be keeping an eye on right now - her quiet, yet powerful vocals have been layered over intricate beats by heavyweight beat-makers XXYYXX, GXNXVS and J-Louis, and her live shows are said to be out of this world. A few months ago, she dropped Out Of Time, her second piece of work with the renowned producer that XXYYXX, and what is now the first taste of her forthcoming EP. After leaving Out Of Time and it's delicate production and almost sultry vocals to warm our hearts for a few months, the official video for the remix has now dropped. Directed by Matt Earl, the Out Of Time video is a bizarre play on Aladdin references mixed in with lasers and on-point camera work, with the ending. Towards the end of the video, Elisha becomes trapped in a glass box, a nod to her middle-eastern heritage through the film Aladdin, in which Jasmine gets trapped in an hourglass - a quite literal representation of 'running out of time', but with a sensual edge to match her vocal touch.
