Exclusive: Stream ARIG's delicate, soulful debut EP, Attrition

The Brisbane-based artist emerges as a unique voice in the Oz music scene.

About a month ago we introduced you to Eritrean-born, now Brisbane-based artist ARIG and her new single, Mama Said, and today we're excited to share the full EP from which it comes - Attrition. Across six beautifully crafted slices of neo soul and stripped back pop music, ARIG has announced herself as a powerful new voice in Australian music, one with some unique stories to tell. It's clear there's a lot of passion at play here, and ARIG's wonderful voice lends an emotive power to the release that is served perfectly with some pared-back production and interesting ideas on what exactly constitutes urban or soul music.

It's thrilling stuff, and we can't wait to see this young artist develop her craft over the years to come.
