Premiere: Pikachunes brings Love Is A Battlefied into 2015

The dark-pop wunderkind rounds the year out in style.

Melbourne-based, New Zealand-born prouducer Miles G Loveless AKA Pikachunes has a knack for bringing the pop sounds of yesteryear into the present, with a darker and very unique-sounding edge to proceedings. Ever since releasing his self-titled debut EP in 2010, Pikachunes has been releasing moody yet playful, retro-sounding dark-pop tunes like those found on his 2013 folllow-up EP, Miles On Lil' Chief, and this year he's linked up with Monday Records to release his debut LP, Allely, and today has unveiled a stunning new re-work of Pat Benatar's Love Is A Battlefied, featuring the vocals AViVA. The two work together beautifully, with very live production elements underpinning AViVA's distant vocals perfectly.
