DJ Yoda made a Stranger Things mixtape and it's filled with nostalgic gold

One of the year's most talked about TV shows' soundtrack gets the Yoda treatment.

Much in the same way Jurassic World tapped into our nostalgic love for Jurassic Park last year, this year's Netflix highlight Stranger Things has captured the imagination of 70s and 70s sci-fi/horror fans in ways Super 8 could only dream of a few years ago. If you haven't watched it already and you're a fan of Steven Spielberg, Stephen King, John Carpenter et al., it's essential viewing. And not only does the film visually reference dozens of old film and TV shows, it's got a fantastic soundtrack delving back into the classics. DJ Yoda sees this, and over the weekend put up a glorious hour-long mixtape taking music from the series along with a few cuts of his own for a fantastic hour of eery sci-fi scores, sound bytes and old school jams that's definitely getting us through Monday:
