Among the plethora of releases which arrive from North America every single week, this new track from Canadian native Maxd and US vocalist ÊMIA particularly stands out. Titled Words, the single is incredibly light and refreshing, cramming tonnes and tonnes of summery vibes in the three-minute run time. The track is a little on the experimental side, with ÊMIA's breezy vocals dancing above a quirky, synth-soaked production driven by a funk-tinged bassline which really packs a punch. It's an incredibly exciting release for the two relatively small names, who both promise to go onto great things in the years to come.
