Photo Diary: Mallrat versus the United States Of America

Having spent a fair chunk of this year hanging in the US at SXSW and doing her own shows, Mallrat has returned to the motherland in preparation for the upcoming Groovin The Moo tour, the release of her new EP and an Australian headline tour. So yeah, she's just getting started. The EP, called In The Sky, isn't out until June 1 (you can pre-order it HERE), although we've already heard a couple of great singles from it in Better and more recently, UFO feat. Allday, and it's safe to say we're in for something special once it does drop.

While in the US she took a few happy snaps on a disposable camera, and lucky for us she sent us a few moments from the trip to share with you all. Check out said snaps below, along with that full run of tour dates down the bottom:

This is my friend Dec and I right before we played in LA. The venue was was an old Masonic hall called The Lodge, it had lots of secret doors and hidden rooms.

My friend Allan! He played keys for me when did acoustic sessions for Billboard and Perez Hilton. We also ate açai everyday and went to a Lil Xan concert together; really appreciating all facets of LA culture.

I don’t know why, but so many of our school friends from Brisbane came to our London show. There were about seven of them in the front row, bless their beautiful souls. Denim is pictured here with Julie and Courtney.

Cub Sport were in New York at the same time as us! I’m so happy we got to see them play overseas, they are BRISBANE ROYALTY! This photo is blurry because I bought a new camera and don’t really know how to use it yet.
