MOSSY joins I OH YOU, unveils debut video clip for Electric Chair

A trippy rendition of the Greek tale of Echo and Narcissus.

Ladies and gentlemen please welcome Sydney’s latest discovery MOSSY; a fitting introduction for a man who has worked in film and theatre prior to his music debut. And boy has he done so in style. Working with homegrown director Kris Moyes, MOSSY has shown off his uninhibited and shameless acting chops in his video for his first single Electric Chair. If you don’t know your Greek mythology, the only thing you really have to know is the story gives rise to the term Narcissism; which does add a degree of humor to the clip you wouldn’t find before. Like MOSSY's Hugh Grant-like dance moves. The relationship MOSSY depicts in his video subtly reminds me of the romance Sia crafted in her video for Elastic Heart. With hazy synths and blended vocals to match, MOSSY has given us a taste of what is to come in his debut EP out May 13 via his new home at I OH YOU.
