Loud Luxury’s Old Man is more than just a banger

Loud Luxury’s Old Man is more than just a banger

A tribute to Nina Simone.

Loud Luxury’s latest drop makes the Canadian duo sound like they’ve been amongst the house scene for years. Old Man is a slick mix of piano and soulful vocals, followed by a heavy kick drum and vein-pumping bass for the hook. It’s definitely a new banger that will catch the ears of party-goers around the world all the way from Perth to Ibiza, and certainly a new track for Spring Break DJ’s to showcase at arguably one of the biggest parties in the US. The duo’s newest release was not just a product of experimenting on the decks back home. A drunken viewing of the Nina Simone documentary, What Happened, Miss Simone?, inspired the boys to do their own rendition of Simone’s track Sinnerman. “The woman is a complete badass,” they praise.
