Sydney electronic duo Left. have been on our radars for a minute now, with their hypnotic latest EP Heart Shaped Vein and it’s soulful undertones impressing us in a big way. They have now returned, taking their self-assured lyrical messages to a new level with an anti-domestic violence anthem No Way. Described as a “jam with a message”, there’s really no better way to put it. “This is my body and its not yours, you can never take me by force. Don’t put out my light source. I say no way” sings front-woman Sarah Corry in the single’s emotionally-driven chorus, which contrasts well with the single’s light, bubbly production. Have a listen to the track below.
