The wait for Cashmere Cat’s debut album Wild Love is shaping up to me a long one. Originally meant to arrive before the end of 2016, a series of leaks and other factors have pushed back the album’s release, but luckily, he’s keeping us entertained with a range of singles before hand. It all kicked off six months ago with the album’s The Weeknd-featuring title track, which has since been followed up with collaborations with Selena Gomez and Tony Lanez, as well a sneaky feature on Lido’s single Dye. Love Incredible is the latest cut from Wild Love to arrive online, with the much-hyped single featuring Camila Cabello of Fifth Harmony fame and additional production by PC Music acquaintance SOPHIE. Love Incredible is fairly low-key, with Cashmere continuing his trend for big vocal features and subdued productions with the single, which balances Cabello’s radio-friendly vocals with stripped-back chords and the occasional, slightly out of place hits of percussion which we’re guessing comes from SOPHIE. With further collaborations with MØ and a whole heap of solo instrumentals from the record still to come, Wild Love is shaping up to be one of 2017’s most awaited album. Here’s just hoping it comes relatively soon though, with an Australian tour in hand perhaps.
