Cashmere Cat teams up with Selena Gomez and Tory Lanez for Trust Nobody

Taken from the producer's forthcoming album Wild Love.

Since arriving with his Mirror Maru EP three years ago, Manhattan-based producer Cashmere Cat has built himself a name as one of electronic’s best producers and DJs, showcasing his tantalizing productions with perfected live shows around the world. Since 2014’s Wedding Bells EP, things have been seemingly quiet for the Norwegian-born, veering away from his own solo productions to work behind-the-scenes, producing beats for Charli XCX (Break The Rules), Tinashe (All Hands On Deck), Kanye West (Wolves, Frank’s Track), Tory Lanez (various singles) and Britney Spears (Just Luv Me), in addition to a couple of low-key collaborations with DJ Mustard and Ariana Grande plus a remix for Hudson Mohawke.

Then, earlier this year, came Wild Lovean unexpected collaboration with The Weeknd and Francis and the Lights – which also brought news of a forthcoming, debut album of the same name. With promising collaborations included (Selena Gomez, SOPHIE and rumouredly, MØ), the next taste of Wild Love has arrived in the form of Trust Nobody, a collaboration with Selena Gomez and Tory Lanez. The track glides throughout its three-minute duration, with Gomez and Lanez donating spotless guest verses over the warm, marimba-sporting production, co-produced by good friend and common collaborator Benny Blanco. Listen to the track below, as well as live preview of the forthcoming collaboration between the producer and SOPHIE, which is also rumoured to appear on the album.
