Listen: The Goods - Strong Man feat. Lo Five

The Goods' debut single is a sweet and sultry, funk-infused jam.

Sydney duo Jarrol Renaud and Rosario Ferraro have been embedded in the Aus music scene for quite some time, with their solo projects touring with everyone from Future Classic golden girl George Maple to bass maestro Touch Sensitive. The Goods is the name of their joint venture, having popped up a few months back for Capsule Sessions but since then, it's been pretty quiet release-wise until now. Strong Man is the name of their debut single, a smooth and sultry R&B sizzler, which borrows vocals from Lo Five. Looking past the crooning vocals, Strong Man is simple yet smart, with a basic percussion line driving funk-infused bass guitar, hand claps and some Roland synth. Released as a part of their upcoming debut album (which will be available sometime during March), Strong Man is a damn good introduction and I have a feeling we'll be hearing a lot more of them into 2016.
