Here's a story - as a 12-year-old kid I bought the Backstreet Boys - Everybody CD single. I loved the video clip, and thought these guys were fucking awesome. They say time heals all wounds, but I still silently live in denial that I could ever carry out such a heinous act. I feel like today is the day that denial changes to acceptance, and it's all thanks to these three dudes. Sydney producer Oski, Belgium-born, Montreal-based Apashe and Oski's Sydney partner in crime Lennon, have unveiled a dirty-ass bootleg of the song that defined so many of my 12 year old Saturday mornings, and will now probably do the same, although it'll be in the early AM in nightclubs, not the late AM watching Video Hits. Combining forces with Lennon and Apashe, this is a tune certified to turn even the snobbiest dancefloor into a melting mess of nostalgia and turn-up.
