Listen: Stel Leo x Spaces - Take Me feat. Sarah de Warren

Meet Sydney ping pong enthusiast Spaces and his banging new single with Stel Leo.

NSW-based producer Spaces enters the Australian soundscape currently enjoying a post-Flume renaissance of dudes inspired by him originally, but moving away into exciting new directions on a daily basis. Making sometimes blissful, sometimes-banging future-bass and chill-trap sounds, w're stoked to premiere his new colab with Stel Leo and Sarah de Warren. But first, you can get to know him a little better:

Tell us about about yourself?

I’ve been producing for roughly two years, I live about an hour and a half out of Sydney, I like ping pong, cats, films, sushi and everything to do with electronic music.

What kinda tunes we talkin’?

Future-bass, trap and oriental vibes - inspiration comes from all over the place!

Production/writing process:

I basically sit down and try to nut out either a spacey melody or chord progression and build up from there. With Take Me it was crazy collabing with Stel and Sarah. Stel from the US, Sarah from the UK and myself from Aus; the power of the Internet is crazy!

What do you do outside of Spaces?

School, dig for new tunes all over the web, drama, sport, hang out with my mates and cuddle my cats.

Any shows coming up?

Not at the moment, I recently played at Rad in Wollongong supporting Stonefox, but for the moment I want to focus on getting more quality productions out.

And releases?

Got a few originals in the works as well as some collabs with some really cool local producers. I would love to write another tune with Stel; doods got insane skills!

What’s the rest of the year have in store?

Finish year 12, write loads more productions and hopefully some shows once school is finished and getting into the city is easier; maybe even a second EP.

Where can we hear more of your music?

On my Soundcloud.
