JOY. Text Message Interview

JOY. Text Message Interview

Trying to keep up with the kids by chatting via text and using emojis.

Okay so we've been a bit naughty with this text message interview. It was conducted a little while ago while Brisbane-based producer Olivia McCarthy AKA JOY. was prepping for her recent support on the sold-out Tkay Maidza Australinan tour. We wanted to hold this off for our re-designed website, and we kept holding and holding and holding and then heaps of time went passed and now we're here :( But! That's no reason why our little chit-chat with one of Australia's brightest young talents shouldn't see the light of your laptop screen. Within you'll find out how the past 18 months have been described in emojis, how stinking hot Brisbane can get, and where her trap career is headed. Oh yeah, we premiered THIS remix she did for MT WARNING the other day, so you should definitely go and chuck it on while you scroll down a text message conversation between two other people on the computer you're looking at.
