Listen: Yolanda Be Cool & DCUP - Soul Makossa (Money)

The boys return with another massive disco hit.

Yolanda Be Cool and DCUP sure know how to write some popular tunes. There’s no denying that the bulk of people, from young school kids to our elders (well mine anyway), would know of 2010’s We No Speak Americano, most recently followed up by last year's Sugarman, and now, the dream team have reunited for a thumping new disco tune, Soul Makossa (Money). Bound to get feet tapping and head bobbing, Soul Makossa sports a pretty damn funky disco beat and saxophone work, not to mention the fact that the vocals are catchy as hell and sure to get you singing along. To be honest, this is such a ripper tune that I’m not even going to be mad if this becomes to overplayed to death, and that means you’re doing something right.
