Premiere: Listen to King, a deep, soulful new cut from Perth's Jamilla

Premiere: Listen to King, a deep, soulful new cut from Perth's Jamilla

The exciting emerging artist is gearing up for her first ever national tour later this month.

Jamilla is a Perth-based nu-soul/R&B producer who's been on our radar for sometime now, and it definitely feels like she's about to take things to a new level in 2018 with the release of her sophomore single, King, officially out this Friday. The soulful track combines the two things we've come to love over the past year or so - her penchant for deep, sparse production and her warm, soulful vocals, both of which shine strongly on King.

Having already supported the likes of Stella Donnelly, Alex The Astronaut and 30/70, she's about to take her equally captivating live show on the road for her debut national tour. Check out that run of dates once you dive into King, below:

TOUR DATES:

Thu 20 Sep - The Grace Emily, Adelaide

Fri 21 Sep - Chateau Apollo, Adelaide

Sat 29 Sep - The Bird, Perth

Sat 13 Oct - Howler, Melbourne
