Listen: The Chemical Brothers - Under Neon Lights feat. St. Vincent

UK electronic duo enlist St Vincent for ripping new single.

It’s been a while since we’ve heard from UK electronic duo The Chemical Brothers, with their last major release being Further, a full length LP released back in 2010, amongst a couple of film scores. After a couple of years buried in the studio, the massive UK duo has returned with Born In The Echoes, set to drop in mid-July. The first taste of the album, Go, was a quick-paced electronic number featuring vocals by Q-Tip, and now we have been treated to Under Neon Lights, a funky disco tune featuring indie queen St Vincent on vocal duties. It’s a pretty standard affair for the duo, with their typical warped, bouncing synth and pulsating bass dominating over soft, spoken vocals. It’s accompanied by some pretty sweet visuals as well, which are a part of their massive new live set up, debuted at Sonar Festival the other week, and no doubt doing the rounds when they hit the road officially to celebrate Born In The Echoes release.

Chemical Brothers have been bringing an epic visual element to their sets for years now, and we can't wait to see how the old guard of dance music have re-invented themselves in the flesh.
