Good guys Command Q upload their We Are Animals EP for free, and talk 2017

“We’re currently prepping for a heinous six months of evolving our sound and changing our show even more.”

Coming off the back of performing at Perth's massive New Year's Eve party at Origin NYE, Command Q have a little gift for everyone to get the 2017 ball rolling, giving their We Are Animals EP (which debuted at #2 Dance on iTunes Australia) away for FREE (click the link or the shopping trolley button below):

In light of this, we reached out to the duo to find out why make the EP free, and what’s coming up for 2017?

“Oh man, 2016 was soo much fun looking back on it. Max capacity show for the hometown Perth show at Jack Rabbit Slim's and such a loyal backing on people ordering the EP was such an odd feeling. We feel like we owe everyone so much for helping us create this and there were so many other incredible moments that we will never forget. We’ve never felt so determined to make you all proud and we hope we can give the music community so much more this year."

“We’re currently prepping for a heinous six months of evolving our sound and making our show as live and good as it can be. We still have a few more dank underground tracks to release before our new style of organic, vocal-driven music comes out. It feels like we’ve fallen in love with music all over again and we can’t wait to share the new songs we’ve been hiding... The whole team is extremely proud and this has been in the making for a long ass time. So that’s why we’ve thrown up that EP for free right now. You’ll see a few more new dirty underground bangers emerge from us and then it's guns blazing into the new vocal-driven style.

"It’s so flipping exciting for us! We’ll be spending everyday in the studio working as much as we can with other stupidly talented artists and producers. Legitimately can’t sit still right now. Thanks for this chance to let people know what’s up." (Love Shaun, the bloke without the moustache)
