Boys Noize teams up with POLIÇA for Starchild

The first single from his fourth album Mayday, out May 20.

A man with no need for an introduction, Boys Noize is legendary - whether it be in regards to his originals, his remixes, or his DJ sets that take us back to the blog-house days of the late 00's (his New Years shows were a classic example of this). Fresh from a heavy stint of 10-year anniversary touring, Boys Noize has doubled down in the studio and come up with gold - gold in the form of the POLIÇA-featuring single StarchildStarchild is rather stripped-back and simplistic than what we're used to from the techno and classic rave sounds he usually delves in, but that does not mean it doesn't work. The combination of POLIÇA's soft vocals and the percussion-laden instrumental blends to creative a rather emotive, dynamic release, definitely a nice curveball from the producer ahead of the release of his fourth full-length album, Mayday. Speaking of which, the producer dropped a whole lot of details concerning the album's release. First up, it's set to come out on May 20th through his own Boys Noize Records, and secondly, he's also teased that it will feature some massive collabs outside of Starchild - including Hudson Mohawke, Spank Rock, Benga and Remy Banks. Take a listen to Starchild below.
